Teresa Millward and Helen Brearley have set up a free social networking site for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. The site, Pretty Pink Pearl, and its associated clothing line has been their dream project for two years. The site works by giving members of the LGBT community a free site to network and meet new people. A news section will keep members updated on the latest LGBT news, while a forum will allow members to interact with each other. They site is even offering a helping hand for people wanting to launch their own small businesses, who cannot afford to start or market their own website. By Joanne Douglas.

Lesbians the toast of the Two Ferrets
Berbard Ingham, Margaret Thatcher's press secretary, used to say that if it wasn't being talked about in the tap room of the Two Ferrets in Hebden Bridge, the Pennine home of his birth, then it wasn't a matter of public interest. Ingham's Two Ferrets was a fictional pub, but the revelation last week that humble Hebden Bridge could be the lesbian hub of Britain comes as no surprise - nor any great concern - to real-life drinkers in the small Yorkshire town. Proudly woven into the Pennines, between the steep, rugged cliffs and the heather-strewn woodlands, stands a pink house with big blue spots.

In true bisexual fashion, my taste in clothes has always existed on both sides of the sexuality spectrum. Being exposed as the secret lesbo lurking in the PE changing rooms and at sleepovers is an experience that many queer girls dread. Skip navigation! Story from Fashion.

Between you and me, in my opinion, it's obvious. I will abstain from comments.
