Ivan Gene LeBell born October 9, is an American martial artist, instructor, stunt performer , actor and professional wrestler born in Los Angeles, California. LeBell has also worked on over 1, films and TV shows [2] and has authored 12 books. He started training in wrestling and boxing from his early childhood, influenced by his mother, "Red Head" Aileen Eaton, a promoter of both sports who owned the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. After getting his black belt , he went to Japan to train in judo at the Kodokan.

Making my way into the depths of Japanese martial arts, my next stop in my series was Judo. Following Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I was under the impression that, really, I could master anything similar. How wrong I was. What I did not consider was the strict, unwavering traditions that judo entails: from the bow when you enter the dojo gym , to the way you greet and leave your instructor.
